Caregivers can be scheduled in a variety of ways based on your daily needs.
Our flexible hourly care plan allows you to schedule just the care you need, at the times you need, from four hours to twenty-four hours per day. Professional caregivers can provide non-medical home care services to suit your needs and budget.
Overnight Home Care with Sleep Care
Overnight home care is a perfect alternative to separate shifts for morning and evening care. Overnight with sleep care works well for those who need assistance with care before bedtime, safety and security assistance during the night, and assistance with morning care needs. The caregiver is in the home on a twelve-hour shift, sleeps overnight and is there for any needs the client may have throughout the night and early morning. This is also a great option for individuals who are afraid or lonely at night or simply rest better knowing that help is available if needed.
Overnight Awake Care
Awake overnight home care is similar to hourly care but is provided for clients needing regular assistance throughout the night. With overnight awake care, the caregiver remains awake for the night and is ready to assist as needed. This may involve a client who needs to be repositioned throughout the night or needs the constant attention of a caregiver by their side.
Often times, a client will need 24-hour supervision, yet nursing home care is not wanted and living with family is not possible. Live-in home care is designed for this unique situation. Our clients generally choose this live-in option when care will be long-term, and their care needs meet the criteria for a “live-in appropriate” situation. A referred, live-in caregiver does just that: lives in the home in the Lancaster and York area and is available 24-hours day to provide both client and family peace of mind, knowing that someone is there if help is needed. Live-In care will not be arranged as a substitute for 24-hour overnight with sleep care or 24-hour hourly care, due to safety concerns for the client and overwhelming work expectations for the caregiver.
Average fees can vary based on fees negotiated with your referred caregivers. The above noted fees include the total rate you will pay for both the referred caregiver and the office administrative fees.
24 Hour with Sleep Care
The 24-hour care option meets the needs of clients who require continuous care throughout the day and minimal assistance during the night (for up to two brief periods of assistance, such as assistance to the bathroom). Frequently, clients will choose hourly and overnight with sleep caregiver services to best achieve 24-hour coverage. Several caregivers are used in shifts for such cases, to assure that the client always has a fresh set of hands to attend to their care needs. Combining the hourly service option with the overnight with sleep service option achieves cost effective 24-hour coverage, for those meeting the above requirements.
24 Hour Awake Care
This level of care is appropriate for those requiring frequent assistance throughout the day and night. Clients who need frequent assistance throughout the night, such as repositioning, extended periods of time awake or frequent toileting/incontinence care, will be appropriate for the 24-hour awake care option. Multiple caregivers are used to assure that a caregiver is awake and ready to respond to a client’s immediate care needs, at any time of the day or night.
